Fix Funscript Sync Problems and Lag
Most funscript sync problems come from four things: a different version of the video, connection delay, a device that cannot move as fast as the script, or a player setting. Each one has a simple fix.
By the Funscripted team. Updated .
Step 1: check the video
A funscript is timed to one exact video. Watch how the problem behaves:
- Off by the same amount the whole way through: a connection delay or a small timing gap. The offset setting in Step 2 fixes it.
- Fine at the start, then further off as the video goes on: your video is a different version of the scene. Use the video linked on the script page.
- Off after a certain point: your copy has a cut or an extra scene. Again, use the linked video.
Step 2: set the offset
The offset moves the whole script earlier or later. Change it in small steps and test on a part with clear, steady motion.
| Player | Setting |
|---|---|
| Handyverse | Offset slider in milliseconds. Left is earlier, right is later. |
| MultiFunPlayer | Global offset, plus an offset for each axis, in seconds. |
| ScriptPlayer | The Script delay setting. |
| fun.autoblow.com | The latency setting. |
Step 3: cut connection delay
- The Handy: pick Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, not both. The combined mode adds 20 to 100 ms of delay. Use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and avoid networks with a login page.
- Autoblow AI Ultra: every command goes over the internet, so set the latency once and leave it.
- Bluetooth toys: keep the toy close to the computer or phone. Vorze asks for 1 m or less for its A10 Piston SA.
- Close other toy apps, so only one app talks to the device.
Step 4: stay within your device's speed
If a fast part feels weak or choppy, the script may ask for more speed than the device has. These are the makers' own top speeds:
| Device | Top speed |
|---|---|
| The Handy 1 and 2 | 400 mm per second |
| The Handy 2 Pro | 450 mm per second |
| Lovense Solace Pro | 300 strokes per minute |
| Kiiroo Keon | 230 strokes per minute |
| Fleshlight Launch | 180 strokes per minute |
| Kiiroo Onyx+ | 140 strokes per minute |
On The Handy, a shorter stroke range helps, because it travels less distance per stroke. In MultiFunPlayer, a speed limit per axis keeps fast parts under control.
Step 5: smooth out choppy motion
- In MultiFunPlayer, keep the Pchip interpolation. It draws a smooth curve between points.
- In ScriptPlayer, the Min Command Delay setting controls how often commands go to a Fleshlight Launch.
- The Lovense Solace Pro keeps moving for about 300 ms after each command, so very fast parts can jitter on it. Slower scripts play better.

Frequently asked questions
Why is my funscript out of sync?
Usually your video is a different version from the one the script was made for, or there is connection delay. Use the video linked on the script page, then adjust the offset in your player.
Which way should I move the offset?
If the device moves after the action on screen, make the script earlier. In Handyverse, that means moving the slider to the left.
Why does the sync get worse as the video goes on?
Your copy of the video is a different version of the scene. The offset cannot fix drift. Use the video linked on the script page.
Why is The Handy lagging?
The combined Wi-Fi and Bluetooth mode adds 20 to 100 ms of delay. Use one mode, keep it on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and adjust the offset slider in Handyverse.
Why does my device feel weak on fast parts?
The script asks for more speed than the device can reach. Every device has a top speed, such as 400 mm per second on The Handy. A shorter stroke range or a speed limit helps.
