How to play funscripts on The Handy

  1. 1Set up The Handy with the Handy Onboarding App on your phone. It pairs over Bluetooth, then joins your Wi-Fi. The Handy only works on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
  2. 2Find your connection key in the Onboarding App or in Handyverse. Keep it private, because anyone with the key can control your Handy.
  3. 3On Funscripted, open a script page, click Connect in the header and choose Internet Devices. Pick The Handy and paste your connection key.
  4. 4To play a downloaded script instead, open Handyverse, enter your key, and load the video and its .funscript file.
  5. 5Press play. If moves feel early or late, move the offset slider until they line up.

The Handy 2 and 2 Pro launched on Kickstarter in May 2025 and started shipping in August 2025. The Handy 2 runs firmware 4 only. The Handy 1 can run firmware 3 or 4.

How fast can The Handy go?

The Handy moves at 32 to 400 mm per second. The Handy 2 Pro goes up to 450. Parts of a script that need more speed than that cannot play at full length.

A shorter stroke range helps. The Handy then travels less distance per stroke, so it can keep up with a faster script. Set the range in the Onboarding App or in Handyverse.

Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?

  • Wi-Fi mode uses your connection key. Handyverse, HereSphere, ScriptPlayer and the Funscripted player connect this way.
  • Bluetooth mode is for apps that talk to the device directly, such as Intiface Central.
  • The Handy starts in offline mode by default. Choose the mode you need when you turn it on.
  • The combined Wi-Fi and Bluetooth mode adds 20 to 100 ms of delay. Pick one mode if you can.
  • Some older apps need Legacy Bluetooth mode on the Handy 1. Hold the UP button and long press the action button to turn it on.

Tips for better sync

  • Hotel and office Wi-Fi with a login page will not work. Use a phone hotspot instead.
  • Keep the firmware current. Update it in Handyverse or the Onboarding App.
  • Charge the Handy 2 with a USB-C PD charger. Ohdoki suggests 65 W, and a weak charger can stop it from turning on.
  • In Handyverse, the offset slider moves the script earlier (left) or later (right). See how to fix sync problems.

Find scripts for The Handy

Every script on Funscripted is a standard .funscript file, so it plays on The Handy with any of the players above.

Frequently asked questions

How do I play funscripts on The Handy?

Get your connection key from the Handy Onboarding App or Handyverse. Then open a script on Funscripted and connect with the Connect button, or load the video and .funscript file in Handyverse, HereSphere or ScriptPlayer, and press play.

What is the Handy connection key?

It is a unique code for your device. Players use it to control your Handy over Wi-Fi. Anyone who has it can control your Handy, so keep it private. You can change it in the app.

What happened to handyfeeling.com?

It now redirects to Handyverse, the web app Ohdoki uses for playing scripts, setup and updates.

What is the difference between The Handy 1 and The Handy 2?

The Handy 2 has a longer 125 mm stroke, a battery with USB-C charging, and room for about 250,000 script points, against 1,000 to 5,000 on the Handy 1. The Handy 2 Pro adds a 450 mm per second top speed and a bigger battery.

Does The Handy work in VR?

Yes. HereSphere connects with your key once you turn on Synchronized Peripherals. DeoVR connects through SexLikeReal and needs an SLR subscription. See our VR funscript guide.

Why will my Handy not join my Wi-Fi?

The Handy only works on 2.4 GHz networks. Networks with a login page, like many hotel and office networks, also fail. Use a phone hotspot in those places.

Does The Handy work with MultiFunPlayer?

Not well right now. MultiFunPlayer marks its Handy output as experimental, and an open bug report says it does not work on firmware 4. Use Handyverse, ScriptPlayer, HereSphere or the Funscripted player instead.
