Funscript Players Compared: Which One to Use

A funscript player reads a script, follows the playback time of the video, and sends each move to your device. The best one depends on your device: The Handy has its own web player, OSR robots need MultiFunPlayer, and most Bluetooth toys go through Intiface Central.

Players that follow another player

MultiFunPlayer can play a video itself, or follow the playback time of another player. It works with DeoVR, MPV, MPC-HC and MPC-BE, HereSphere, OpenFunscripter, VLC, PotPlayer, Whirligig, Plex, Emby and Jellyfin. ScriptPlayer can follow DeoVR.

This is how you get multi-axis scripts or any Intiface device into VR: the VR player plays the video, and MultiFunPlayer moves the device.

How players find the script

  • Most players look next to the video for a file with the same name, such as my-video.funscript for my-video.mp4.
  • MultiFunPlayer also searches script library folders you add, and can pull scripts from XBVR and Stash.
  • HereSphere checks the video folder or XBVR first, then a fallback folder, C:/Interactive by default.
  • DeoVR has used an Interactive folder with scripts named like the video.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best funscript player?

It depends on your device. For The Handy, use the Funscripted player or Handyverse. For OSR2 and SR6 robots, use MultiFunPlayer. For most Bluetooth toys, use Intiface Central with a player. For VR, use HereSphere or DeoVR.

Is MultiFunPlayer free?

Yes. MultiFunPlayer is free and open source under the MIT license. It runs on Windows and needs .NET 8.

Is Intiface Central a video player?

No. It is a hub that connects your toys. Players such as MultiFunPlayer and ScriptPlayer connect to it at 127.0.0.1:12345, and it passes their moves to the toy.

Which funscript players work in VR?

HereSphere and DeoVR. HereSphere connects to The Handy and the Autoblow with a key, and to some Bluetooth toys on Meta Quest. DeoVR works with The Handy through SexLikeReal. See VR funscripts.

Does ScriptPlayer still work?

Yes. Its last stable release is 1.2.1 from May 2024, and a 1.2.3 test build from October 2025 adds support for Handy firmware 4.

Can I use more than one toy at once?

Yes. MultiFunPlayer can drive several outputs at the same time, and XToys can mix toys from different brands.
