Six-axis stroker robot by TempestMAx
SR6 Funscripts: Setup Guide
The SR6 is a six-axis stroker robot designed by TempestMAx. Six servos move one platform, so it can stroke, surge, sway, roll and pitch, and twist with an add-on. It plays multi-axis funscripts through MultiFunPlayer.

How to play funscripts on the SR6
- 1Flash the firmware. Use the SR6 sketch from TempestMAx, or TCodeESP32 with SR6 picked on its settings page.
- 2Plug the SR6 into your computer with USB and note its COM port.
- 3Install MultiFunPlayer. Add a Serial output and pick that COM port.
- 4Connect MultiFunPlayer to your video player, such as VLC with its web interface on, or DeoVR or HereSphere with remote control on.
- 5Put every axis file next to the video with the same name, such as
video.funscript,video.surge.funscriptandvideo.pitch.funscript, then press play.
Players that work with the SR6
MultiFunPlayer
Drives all six axes, with speed limits and range settings per axis.
XTPlayer
Free T-Code player for Windows, Linux and Mac.
Intiface Central
Treats the SR6 as a single linear axis, so only the stroke plays.
HereSphere and DeoVR
VR players that send their playback time to MultiFunPlayer.
The six SR6 axes
| Axis | Motion | Script file |
|---|---|---|
| L0 | Stroke, up and down | video.funscript |
| L1 | Surge, forward and back | video.surge.funscript |
| L2 | Sway, left and right | video.sway.funscript |
| R1 | Roll | video.roll.funscript |
| R2 | Pitch | video.pitch.funscript |
| R0 | Twist, with the twist receiver | video.twist.funscript |
A script does not need all six files. Most multi-axis scripts ship the stroke plus a few extra axes, and the SR6 only moves the axes that have a file. Read more in the multi-axis guide.
Tips for better sync
- If surge and sway feel swapped, update TCodeESP32. Version 0.57b fixed an SR6 mix-up of those two axes on T-Code v0.3.
- Set speed limits and ranges per axis in MultiFunPlayer before your first run.
- A T-valve add-on adds suction control, driven by
video.valve.funscriptorvideo.suck.funscriptfiles. - If moves feel early or late, change the offset in MultiFunPlayer. See how to fix sync problems.
Find scripts for the SR6
Every script on Funscripted is a standard .funscript file, so it plays on the SR6 with any of the players above.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the SR6 and the OSR2?
The OSR2 uses two or three servos and moves in stroke, roll and pitch. The SR6 uses six servos on one platform and adds surge and sway, for six axes in total with the twist add-on.
Can the SR6 play normal single-axis funscripts?
Yes. A normal video.funscript drives the stroke axis. The other axes only move when you add their files.
Does the SR6 work with Intiface Central?
Only for the stroke. Intiface Central treats T-Code devices as one linear axis. Use MultiFunPlayer for the other five axes.
What board does the SR6 use?
The parts list uses an ESP32 DevKit V1. It runs either the SR6 sketch from TempestMAx or the TCodeESP32 firmware.
How far does the SR6 move?
About 120 mm up and down, 60 mm forward and back, 60 mm side to side, about 30 degrees of roll and pitch each way, and up to 135 degrees of twist each way with the twist receiver.
